What Will You Do
To lead the development and implementation of communications strategy and plans in line with the overall group communications strategy. Act as an expert advisor to the Platform CEO and Executive Leadership Team on communications, public relations, internal and external communications, and stakeholder engagement to support the business objectives of the platform. The role additionally requires the provision of direct communications support to platform assets – both senior leadership teams and communications functions

What Will You Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in communications, digital communication, marketing or equivalent.
  • 7+ years of experience in communications, with focus on digital communication. Preferably experience in a large-scale organisation with complex business operations or experience working across various industries. At least 2 years in a managerial / supervisory position.  Additional relevant experience is an advantage.
  • Strong knowledge of digital communications strategy development and implementation, and ability to devise strategies that drive business results.
  • Strong technical knowledge of a wide range of digital platforms including social media, websites, e-newsletters.
  • Strong knowledge of Marketing terminology, analytics and integrated marketing strategies/plans; how to plan, implement, execute, analyze and evaluate.
  • Knowledge of content development and content management processes
  • Knowledge of web content management systems.
  • Good project management knowledge and ability to deliver web/digital projects within cross-functional teams.
  • Good understanding of information architecture, usability and site design.
  • Creative and innovative approach to communications with the ability to identify new ways of working.
  • Ability to develop and maintain successful relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Good knowledge of communication and influencing techniques and ability to deal with people across a wide range of functions and at all levels of the organisation.
  • Good knowledge of the market and ability to use and interpret behavior analysis tools such as Google Analytics.

What Will You Do

  • Performing administrative tasks and managing projects and tasks downwards and upwards (weekly updates, conducting campaign reports, budget management, updating status reports, etc.)
  • Ensuring they are up to date with our Mubadala business announcements, deals, key sponsorships, etc. to reflect this in our marketing plans and materials throughout the year.
  • Managing integrated campaigns targeted towards our international vs. local audiences and understands how to strategically plan marketing campaigns from a media buy aspect along with our media buying agency from A to Z. This includes identifying our KPI’s for each campaign based on the overall objective, planning the marketing integrated campaign paid plan, selecting the channels/outlets vs the media buy deliverables (i.e. CPV, Impressions, etc.), TA segmentation, AB testing of content, ROI, etc.
  • Understands how to run, manage and execute integrated marketing campaigns externally and internally across paid, owned and earned channels.
  • Has the expertise and knowledge in video production and overall process + components including; storytelling, content creation, script writing, embedding business narrative within the produced piece, social media video formats and latest trends, etc.
  • Working closely with our media intelligence team, media buy agency and social media team to run useful campaign monitoring and conduct comprehensive post campaign reports.
  • Managing one of our key external channels – Mubadala Tower content requests, content creation process, stakeholder management, and enhance the overall process.
  • Has basic understanding on external channels management including social media channels and how to leverage the different channels when it comes to content placement, other channels include, Mubadala Tower, YouTube, and Mubadala.com
  • Has some understanding on running brand perception studies to gauge the brand salience and brand awareness and utilize those study insights in our campaigns.
  • Manages the day to day tasks with our in house media buy agency and ensure they are managing our campaigns and requests effectively and efficiently.
  • Can work with big teams and different projects related to leadership and senior management speaking opportunities at events, sponsorships, etc. while ensure to capture those stories for our external channels.
  • Proactive in reviewing and sharing feedback on creative materials whether it’s on video content or social media posts for specific campaigns; keeping in consideration Mubadala brand guidelines and narrative.
  • Is up to date with the most recent video and social media trends, best practices on creative, video styles, animation, etc.
  • Work closely and report to the Digital & Corporate Marketing Manager to assist with the design and execution of marketing campaigns, including microsite development, .com cross marketing, social media plans, and paid advertising.
  • A perfect candidate has sufficient knowledge on digital marketing tools and processes and can execute on a variety of marketing tasks with minimum supervision and within deadlines.
  • Understands marketing and social media analytical tools (i.e. Google Analytics, Sprinkler, etc.) and takes the initiative to share ideas and ways forward to improve things that require improvement.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously, work under strict deadlines and is able to come up with proactive solutions when required.
  • Great communication and interpersonal skills
