Jotun International Company in Qatar announced the availability of training opportunities for bachelor’s degree holders in the following specializations:

Training – Quality Control.

As a Purchasing Executive Intern, you will manage and execute operational purchasing tasks as delegated by the Purchasing Manager in line with Group Purchasing (GP) policies, principles, guidelines, and procedures for Raw Material (RM), Purchased Finished Goods (PFG), Direct Packaging Material (DPM) and Indirect Material(IM) in close cooperation with local stakeholders and GP, enabling the company to achieve the desired delivery service to the customers.

This is an Internship Program for 3 months and reports to the Purchasing Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Participate in the planning process in close cooperation with internal stakeholders.
  • Place and expedite purchase orders for designated RM, PFG, DPM or IM categories, based on agreements made by GP category managers or other authorized personnel, in accordance with GP guidelines and procedures.
  • Communicate with GP category managers regarding RM, PFG, DPM, IM requirements, supplier performance, shortages, non-conformances etc. for designated categories in line with given guidelines and procedures.
  • Assist Purchasing Manager in ensuring that supplier invoice control is carried out in line with company guidelines, relevant customs regulations and procedures are followed and facilitated and that all supplier invoices are paid within due date, for designated suppliers/categories.
  • Follow up and report to Purchasing Manager on agreed KPIs.

As a Quality Control Intern, you will perform basic support tasks as assigned to assist the Quality Control Manager in various types of Quality Control-related jobs.

This is an Internship Program based in Qatar for 4 months and reports to the Quality Control Manager.

Responsibilities:

  • Receive and register samples from production.
  • Analyze according to given methods and compare results with specification.
  • Ensure efficient work so that QC processes are done in shortest possible time.
  • Incoming Raw Material Quality control
  • Measure and follow-up KPIs as agreed.
  • Issue Certificate of Analysis (CoA), distribute and file as required.
  • Stores retain samples and remove old samples on expiry date.
  • Ensure that instruments have been calibrated according to standard.
  • Monitoring and reporting of process time.
