About the location:
seaside retreat in the heart of Qatar’s capital; experience the completely new Four Seasons Hotel Doha, reimagined with modern grandeur and sparkling with sunlight and sea views. From the elegant lobby to energetic restaurants and lounges, our beachfront urban retreat has been transformed into a vibrant hotspot, while remaining true to our Qatari roots. This stunning urban beachfront retreat opened in April 2005 in the heart of the business district, and has 237 rooms and 20 unbranded townhouses villas, a large Food and Beverage operation with 10 stunning venues including the world’s largest Nobu restaurant, significant banquets/outside catering, five pools and a private beach, fitness center, and a spa and wellness center offering guests expansive hydrotherapy facilities including an ice room, colour therapy room, steam room and hydrotherapy pool. The hotel completed a beautiful renovation in 2019 and re-opened in March 2020.

Responsibilities

  • To train, motivate, supervise and discipline all Chef’s working directly and indirectly in the kitchen.
  • To prepare and cook food according to standard procedures, recipe cards, photographs and given instructions.
  • To establish standard recipes and ensure the compliance with them.
  • Constantly inspect taste, temperature and visual appeal, make sure that all dishes are uniform and that established portion sizes are adhered to.
  • To assist the Sous Chef and Jr. Sous Chef in training associates.
  • To participate in product development and in controlling the smooth operation of the kitchen.
  • To ensure food quality, food taste, food presentation, and food requisition.
  • To have a good knowledge of cuisines to carry out the duties and responsibilities for the position in an efficient and productive manner.
  • To be able to supervise employee and manage a shift.
  • To ensure proper sanitation procedures are followed and the kitchen is always clean, neat and tidy.
  • To assist the Sous Chef and Jr. Sous Chef in the day-to-day operation of the kitchen and to help maintain a high Standard of food preparation and presentation.
  • To have full knowledge of Four Seasons Food Standards.
  • To ensure all equipment is in full working order.
  • To ensure an adequate supply of all products prepared on a timely basis.
  • To do requisition of all items needed for the following day from the food storeroom, non-food storeroom and stewarding department.
  • To prepare exciting and appealing room amenity when needed.

Preferred Qualifications And Skills

  • Degree Holder, preferably in Culinary.
  • 2-4 years of experience Supervisory or Management experience.
  • Strong organizational skills
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and project management skills
  • Excellent communication skills

    • Ability to train, supervise, and motivate kitchen staff effectively.
  2. Culinary Skills:
    • Proficiency in preparing and cooking food according to standard recipes and presentation guidelines.

    • Strong attention to detail to ensure food quality, adherence to portion sizes, and compliance with sanitation standards.
  4. Operational Support:
    • Capability to assist in daily kitchen operations, collaborating effectively with Sous Chefs.
  5. Inventory Management:
    • Skills in managing kitchen inventory, including requisitioning supplies efficiently.

Hostess – Nobu Doha

Who We Look For:-
We look for employees who share the Golden Rule; people who, by nature, believe in treating others as we would have them treat us. We look for individuals who share a passion for excellence and who infuse that enthusiasm into everything they do.

Responsibilities:-

  • Seat guests promptly at a table pre-set for the number in the party and according to guest preference.
  • Set up Hostess stand, review guest reservation book, and make recommendations as to the set-up of the room, maintain a station chart and cover count for the restaurant while recognizing the maximum workload capacity of each server in order to meet Four Seasons Service standards.
  • Answer telephones according to Four Seasons standards and take guest reservations or provide information regarding the restaurant or any other hotel service.
  • Anticipate the needs of guests, respond accordingly to guest inquiries or problems, and recognize regular guests by name and utilize the guest’s name consistently.
  • Inspect and maintain daily menus to ensure quality, condition and appearance while developing a complete working knowledge of all menu items and daily specials.
  • Work harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.
  • Complete special projects (menu changes, signage, etc) as instructed.
  • Ensure proper table set-up and make minor adjustments as needed.

Preferred Qualifications and Skills:-

  • Degree Holder, preferably in hotel and restaurant management
  • 2-4 years of experience with a luxury hotel in a luxury hotel & resort
  • Excellent command in English, Arabic is an advantage

  2. Guest Relations:
    • Passion for providing excellent customer service and creating memorable experiences for guests.
