Position: Accounting Officer

Overview: Swiss International School in Qatar is looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Accounting Officer to join our finance and school life operations team. This role presents a unique opportunity to contribute to the financial integrity and operational efficiency of an esteemed international school.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and receivable.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial records and reports.
  • Ensure compliance with financial regulations and school policies.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes.
  • Reconcile bank statements and maintain accurate cash flow records.
  • Collaborate with other departments to streamline financial processes.
  • Provide assistance during audits and respond to inquiries from auditors.
