Job Title: Cashier (Female, Preferred)
Starting Monthly Salary: QAR 1,800 (plus duty meal, shared room accommodation, and transportation)
Job Summary: We are currently seeking a skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Waiter – Cashier. In this dual role, you will be responsible for providing exceptional service to our guests as a waiter while also handling cashier duties efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities
- Process guest payments, including cash, credit/debit cards, and mobile payments, accurately and efficiently.
- Handle cash transactions and reconcile cash drawers at the end of each shift, ensuring accuracy and compliance with cash handling procedures.
- Provide guests with itemized receipts and process refunds or exchanges as needed.
- Greet guests warmly upon arrival, escort them to their tables, and present menus.
- Provide attentive and friendly service throughout the dining experience, assisting guests with menu selections, taking orders, and answering questions about menu items.
- Anticipate and fulfill guest needs, ensuring a positive and memorable dining experience for every guest.
- Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests and enter them into the POS system promptly.
- Communicate special requests or dietary restrictions to the kitchen and ensure that orders are prepared correctly.
- Coordinate with kitchen and bar staff to ensure timely delivery of orders and maintain smooth service flow.
- Build rapport with guests and establish positive relationships to encourage repeat business and loyalty.
- Address guest inquiries, feedback, and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, escalating issues to management as needed.
- Assist with cleaning and maintaining the dining area, including wiping down tables, clearing dishes, and restocking condiments.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization at the cashier station, including the POS system, credit card terminals, and cash registers.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a waiter, cashier, or in a customer service role is preferred.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly and outgoing personality.
- Ability to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions.
- Attention to detail and accuracy in order processing and payment handling.
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
