Security Guard

- Responding to Emergencies: Responding promptly to alarms, emergencies, or incidents, such as fire outbreaks, medical emergencies, or security breaches, and taking appropriate action to mitigate risks and ensure the safety of people and property.
- Enforcing Rules and Regulations: Enforcing company policies, rules, and regulations, as well as applicable laws and ordinances, to maintain order and discipline within the premises.
- Providing Customer Service: Providing assistance, guidance, and directions to visitors, employees, or customers, as well as addressing their concerns or inquiries in a professional and courteous manner.
- Writing Reports: Documenting and writing detailed reports of security incidents, observations, or activities that occur during the shift, and ensuring accurate record-keeping for future reference or legal purposes.
- Performing Security Checks: Conducting security checks on vehicles, bags, or personal belongings to prevent the unauthorized entry of prohibited items or substances into the premises.
- Maintaining Security Equipment: Ensuring that security equipment, such as metal detectors, alarms, and communication devices, are in proper working condition and reporting any malfunctions or defects to the appropriate authorities.
- Cooperating with Law Enforcement: Collaborating with local law enforcement agencies, emergency responders, or other security personnel during emergencies or incidents requiring external assistance or intervention.
- Training and Development: Participating in ongoing training programs, workshops, or drills to enhance skills, knowledge, and preparedness for various security scenarios and emergencies.
- Maintaining Professionalism: Maintaining a professional demeanor, appearance, and attitude at all times, and adhering to ethical standards and confidentiality protocols in handling sensitive information or situations.

The Security Guard is responsible for implementing the security policies and protection to safeguard the physical well being of the company’s property, its guests, visitors, and employees, ensuring safety for all concerned while adhering to the standards required by the company in a friendly and engaging manner
The minimum requirements for the vacancy are as follows:
- Minimum High School Diploma
- Certifications on Safety & Security/ Fire Training
- Knowledge on firefighting equipment, CCTV operations and conducting Investigations
- Awareness of Occupational Health & Safety Standards or similar fields
- Minimum 2-3 years’ experience in Security or Loss Prevention operations
- Technical ability and knowledge on Security systems i.e. CCTV two-way radios, Patrolling devices, Access control system etc.
- English language proficiency. Knowledge and practice of Arabic language is a plus
- Good communication skills both verbal and written

Pay: QAR3,000.00 per month
