Scope of Position
To serve the needs of the business, our guests, and our colleagues by helping providing services in the Kids Club
Responsibilities
- To help supervisor to participate in the smooth running of the Kids department on a day-to-day basis to achieve the highest possible levels of guest satisfaction.
- To assist in creating new, unique, and interesting activities that draw upon the best cultural, sporting, or other offerings.
- To have a complete knowledge of the products and services offered by the hotel, and particularly all the kids club activities in the hotel.
- To help supervisor to lead the implementation of FLHSS and to help to take full and complete care of children.
- Help in execution of the Kids Club activities programme.
- Ensure that all activities are performed in a safe environment using proper safety techniques.
- Use qualified attendants in all areas where relevant qualifications are required, i.e. Lifeguard.
- Help to monitor the success of the activities programs through the number of participants per scheduled event and through guests’ feedback. Make necessary adjustments to maintain top quality, fun filled and original programs for hotel guests and kids.
- To assist in preparing and circulating clear information to guests of the events offered by the hotel in conjunction with Mandarin Oriental Muscat Concierge.
- Keep all equipment clean and well maintained in the kid’s club.

Safety Awareness: Knowledge of safety protocols and practices relevant to child supervision and activities.

Must have at least 2 years’ experience in working with children in a hotel.
Must speak and write English at an intermediate level
Preferred
- Obtain the Pediatric First Aid and CPR certification
- Fluent in Arabic/ English both written and verbal

As a Security Coordinator, you will be responsible for performing administrative tasks and involves managing security records, coordinating with security personnel, and supporting the implementation of security procedures to ensure a safe and secure environment for guests and staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain and update security logs, incident reports, and daily activity reports. Ensure all documentation is accurate and filed appropriately.
- Enter security-related data into databases, including incident reports, visitor logs, and access control records.
- Handle inquiries and provide information related to security matters.
- Assist with the scheduling of security staff shifts and coordinate coverage to always ensure adequate security presence.
- Prepare and distribute regular reports on security activities, incidents, and trends to management.
- Monitor and maintain security equipment inventory, including CCTV, alarm systems, and communication devices. Report any malfunctions or needs for repairs.
- Support the security team in coordinating responses to security incidents, including documenting events and actions taken.
- Ensure adherence to security policies and procedures. Assist in the training and orientation of new security staff on protocols and administrative procedures.
- Perform general office duties such as filing, typing, and answering phones. Assist with other administrative tasks as required.

- Excellent organizational abilities to manage multiple tasks, maintain accurate records, and handle administrative duties efficiently.
- High level of accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and integrity.
